I'm still having troubles with my internet connection at home. Right now, I'm writing this at work. I really need to see what's going on with that connection, once I have the time.

Now, an update on what I've been doing:

First, the 50 girls 50 competition. Unfortunately, I didn't get to the finalist stage. I took a look at all the finalists' work and I have to say that most were pretty superb. One or two, not so much. But I'm glad I entered, I learned a lot, and have some brand new sequential pages to submit to publishers.

I've also decided to force myself to draw a piece a day. I also try to learn something specific with each one. So I may be updating some new pieces in a couple of days. It's been great to do this, because I feel my technique and speed improving lots.

My goal is to get fast enough to make a full colored painted piece in 3 or 4 hours. Right now, it probably take me at least twice that time. But it's not 8 hours in a row, but on and off during weekdays after work, when I'm tired as hell.

I'm also planning on illustrating some scripts right now.

Well, enough for now, gotta get back to work.
